I took this picture in Minnewaska State Park Preserve in New York. We discovered this park while driving from the Adirondack Mountains to Shenandoah National Park. Being tired of the traffic and pouring rain we pulled of the exit and followed the signs to this state park. We spent about an hour exploring and eating peanut butter, honey, and cheez-it sandwiches looking at the beautiful like high on a mountain ridge. This state park is a testament to the importance of spontaneity while traveling and accepting that everything won’t work out how you planned. – Josh
